Relanch of Ashcrown

Important Changes:

  • The game's backend code has been rewritten from ground up and is now public.
  • The standard account system has been replaced with temporary sessions. You only need a unique nickname to play.
  • All content is unlocked by default.
  • The ranked ladder has been retired. (for now)
  • The game client now uses WebGL and can be played directly in your browser. No download is required. Previously, a standalone client was needed from Steam, the App Store, or Google Play.

Bugfixes:

  • Xanthos' Spellbind duration will now get correctly reduced by Jane's Counter Shot
  • Achievement flip animation will no longer become stuck if you quickly swap to a different achievement tab
  • Corrected typo in Nerissa's Drown
  • Luther's Flamestrike debuff tooltip now states that it only increases the costs of Strategic abilities
  • Tien's Forbidden Technique is now correctly classified as Affliction (was Strategic before)
  • The registration name filter should now work correctly

  • Qog
    • Collect Debt CD increased from 0 to 1
    • Pyramid Scheme cost changed from Random to Green
  • Arabela
    • Divine Trap CD increased from 0 to 1
  • Payne
    • Shadow Prison cost changed from Random to Purple
    • Xik'an's Heart of Nature will now prevent the instant kill (this is already the case for similar abilities like Moroz's Shatter)
  • Garr
    • Barbed Chain invulnerability duration decreased from 2 to 1
  • Samson
    • Kingdom Guardian cost changed from 2 Random to Green and Red
  • Ultrich
    • Impale CD increased from 0 to 1

Bugfixes:

  • Gruber's Poison Injection part 1 will no longer cause an issue if removed during your turn by an ability like Lexi's Nourish

  • Payne's Shadow Shield now has the correct cost when viewed in the collection
  • Hrom's AI improvements
  • Eluard's Devastate typo corrected
  • Aniel's ability descriptions now clearly state that you need to use the ability on the same enemy for some of the bonus effects
  • Nikto's Mind Shatter typo corrected
  • Sanguimon's Massacre now has the correct cost when viewed in the collection
  • Sanguimon's Hunt now correctly has no cooldown
  • Yesfiel's Battle Dance no longer applies the same debuff multiple times if her team is targeted by an AOE ability
  • Training Wheels Off achievement fixed
  • Not Even Close achievement fixed
  • Tinky's Spiked Bombs typo corrected
  • Xik'an's Nature's Grasp has been reworded to reflect its behaviour better
  • Qynnir's Living Bomb will no longer cause AI games to end prematurely
  • Gruber's Poison Injection initial debuff will no longer incorrectly stun
